For the following procedures/lesions the erbium laser is used:

- Removal of benign lesions such as senile/seborrheic keratoses

- Benign moles
- Fibroma
- Xanthelesmas
- Acne scars
- Superficial laser peelings
- Skin Rejuvenation
The erbium laser is an ablative laser. The laser energy reaches the upper layers of the skin and can finely cut through it in layers. It is a very accurate and precisly controlled method. Accuracy being in the millimeter range. There is usually no scarification as the surrounding tissue is generally not involved and an ideal cosmetic result is achieved.
