Actinic Keratosis, precurses of skin cancer are increasing in the population. Every second german above the age of 60 years has these rough hyperkeratotic skin changes usually on areas of the skin which are constantly exposed to UV radiation. If they go undiscovered and untreated this could lead to the development of skin cancer.
If discovered in time they can be surgically removed in local anaesthesia or after a biopsy, they can be ablated using the Erbium-YAG-Laser for optimal cosmetic results.
